About the event:
Welcome to a silent retreat focused on deepening your mindfulness practice and improving self-care. Guided, silent meditation and mindful movement form the foundation of our days together. The teachings will focus on enhancing body awareness and self compassion as well as integrating mindfulness into daily life.
Teachers:
Tom Heah - Occupational Therapist and clinical faculty at the University of British Columbia in Canada. Tom teaches mindfulness programs at the Vancouver Coastal Mental Health and Substance Use Program, Langara College and privately. He is also Advisor for the UCLA Training in Mindfulness Facilitation Program and a Mentor for MBSR and MBCT teacher trainers for the Centre for Mindfulness Studies.
Mona Gradin Wolvén - Physical Therapist with a specialist degree in mental health and training in psychotherapy. Mona is a mindfulness- /MBSR-teacher through the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, USA. She also has 10 years of guided deepening in Insight Meditation. Together with six colleges Mona operates the county funded reception Tavastkliniken in Södermalm, Stockholm.
